The Learning Channel: advertiser Boycott letter

To President/CEO & Board:

I want to alert you to the fact that The Learning Channel show, Jon and Kate Plus 8 is being boycotted by viewers - including myself - due to perceived child emotional abuse and neglect on the show and the lack of response by TLC to viewer concerns on the matter.

Despite three letters from Child AbuseWatch.net  to John Hendricks the THC chairman and to the corporate board, the show continues unabated; the communications unanswered, the concerns unaddressed.

I presume your company does not want to enable a channel that makes money from the alleged exploitation of children and the growing negative publicity that this is generating. I urge you to immediately cease all advertising on the The Learning Channel until such time as regulation is in place to ensure the safety of reality show children.
